科赫工业被认为是一个军事祖父母dly® Employer by Victory Media for the third consecutive year for helping veteran employees excel in the civilian workforce — this year earning a Silver Award.

The Military Friendly® Employer designation recognizes organizations helping veterans and other members of the military community make the transition from the military to the civilian workforce through programs such as Koch Vets. With the tagline “Our mission is your success,” the Koch Vets program focuses on employment, retention and advancement programs to help veterans achieve their career goals.

“We are proud of the Military Friendly® designation and recognition,” said John Buckley, military relations manager for Koch Industries and retired Army Colonel. “It is an acknowledgement of the overall team effort, including people from every Koch company. It indicates our commitment to identify quality talent and signifies we’ve been improving our military veteran recruiting and retention programs.

“This is a great place for veterans to work — and not just to work, but to build a career and be successful with that career,” Buckley said. “This isn’t just a place for them to land after jumping off the merry-go-round of the military service, but instead it’s a place to build a house and stay for a while, and make it a career.”

Each year, the list of Military Friendly® Employers is provided to service members and their families, helping them discover the best post-military career opportunities available.

“Companies that have earned this designation have exceptionally strong hiring programs and meaningful jobs for transitioning service members, veterans and spouses,” said Daniel Nichols, chief product officer at Victory Media. “Our Military Friendly®Employers have moved beyond answering ‘why hire military?’ They are truly aligning their jobs and recruiting efforts with Military Friendly®学校的军事能力转化为civilian careers.”

More than 200 companies participated in the Military Friendly ® Employers portion of the 2018 Military Friendly® Companies survey. This year, Koch advanced to Silver Award status for its positive strides in veteran recruitment, retention and mentorship activities.

“We are ecstatic to have advanced to the Silver Award level; but we see the challenge ahead of us,” Buckley said. “The Silver designation is a clear sign that we have improved our program over the last year, and provides us with a quality baseline assessment for our program. Now we can better focus on enhancing our program.”

Organizations and companies were evaluated using public data sources and responses from a survey of participating organizations.

Final ratings were determined by combining an organization’s survey score with an assessment of the organization’s ability to meet thresholds for applicant, new hire retention, employee turnover and promotion and advancement of veterans and military employees.

Koch will be showcased along with other 2018 Military Friendly® Employers in the December issue ofG.I. Jobs®magazine, the January 2018 issue of Military Spouse Magazine and on MilitaryFriendly.com.
